RESOLUTION

We strongly emphasize to our clients to send a minimum resolution of graphics/artwork in 300 dpi. This will offer supreme results in printing your labels. Anything lower than that will result in poor print quality.

FONTS & GRAPHICS

To avoid any delays with your order, fonts and graphics should be included when submitting files, unless they are embedded within the document or fonts are converted to outlines.

BLEED

To ensure proper registration and die cutting during the printing process, it is important to prepare files with a .125 (1/8") of bleed on each side of the label. For instance, if the finished size is 2 x 5, create the document size as 2.125 x 5.125 (2 1/8" x 5 1/8").

FILE FORMATS

Files are thoroughly checked before production begins. We prefer Quark files (.qxd) providing all files utilized in the document are included. Other acceptable formats are: EPS, PDF, Illustrator (.ai),and In Design (.indd) file of the finished label is just as acceptable. When sending a PDF, please save using the "Press Quality" preset, create text to outlines, and avoid downsampling of the image.

COLORS & PROOFS

Artwork should be created in 4 color process (CMYK) or Pantone colors, not RGB. Keep in mind that colors on a monitor will be represented differently when they are printed. Proofs art sent via email or regular mail. These are mainly for text purposes. If color is vital, it is best to send us a sample of your existing label so we can accurately match what you are looking for. If that's not available, then we can do a press proof or a matchprint.
